- CD-ROM or CD-R/W (SCSI or IDE)
- Backup device
InstantRecovery & NTFS Drives:
If you are backing up to a file on a local hard drive, that hard drive cannot be formatted as NTFS. InstantRecovery 4 will not write to a local NTFS partition.
InstantRecovery can back up to a file on a networked hard drive (another machine / server) whose hard drive is formatted as NTFS. InstantRecovery will write to a network / mapped drive NTFS partition.
Professional Version Requirement
Network backups require a Domain Server. (Workgroups are not supported)
